Lac
Courte Oreilles is one of the area’s finest lakes. It is deep, clear and
produces many trophy class fish including several muskies, bass, and walleyes.
Big Lac Courte Oreilles offers over 5,000 surface acres, a maximum depth of 90
feet, and water clarity down to 14' deep. It is
one of the largest lakes in the county and is known for its excellent fishing
and superb recreational attributes. Not surprising, the waters contain some of
the finest big fish structure an angler can find; steep breaks, deep and shallow
weeds, rocky points and bars, and offshore humps loitered with suspended
baitfish.
LCO is among the top 10 largest lakes
in Wisconsin. Additionally, there is easy access all around the lake, with
rental boats and personal water crafts available from various businesses in
advance.
